There is Still More to Fear

Here's my second carving for this year. This one is depicting a scene from the new Dracula Untold movie. I just went and saw it yesterday and I can not even begin to describe how much I loved it. I was originally going to carve something else this week, but I was so inspired by the movie, I actually came up with this idea in the car on the way back from the theater.
This isn't a spoiler for the movie, since the scene where Vlad is controlling a huge swarm of bats is in the trailer. The movie had so many amazing scenes in it, I found it hard to choose which one to carve.
This pumpkin has to be the biggest one that I have ever carved, but it was necessary to get all of those little bats and Vlad's hands in detail. As always, I came up with the design then drew it on the pumpkin with a dry-erase marker. Over all, this took seven hours to carve.
